Canada assists Colombia in education.

Canada has announced a US$23.2 million donation to Colombia in view of their acceptance of about 1.7 million Venezuelan refugees since 2015, and the difficulties the country has faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. US$15.7 million of the aid is to provide high-quality education for vulnerable children and adolescents over an eight-year period. US$3.9 million is for economic empowerment of rural women and youth, US$2.7 million for peace and security, and US$177,000 to support students’ education through radio and television during the pandemic. Canada is a Shining World Leadership Award for Animal Protection recipient, and a laureate of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Caring. Our heartfelt gratitude, Canada, for your timely help. May all the kind Colombian people live in peace, security and joy in the care of the Providence.

COVID-19 significantly affects the global job market.

According to a report by the International Labor Organization, 8.8% of working hours were lost worldwide in 2020 because of the pandemic, which is an equivalent to 255 million full-time jobs. Also, the loss in working income was a staggering US$3.7 trillion. The most affected were the hospitality and food service industries, then the retail, arts and construction sectors. Meanwhile, other fields have seen positive job growth, such as the information, communication and financial sectors. The two differing trends are likely to increase inequality, with the low-paid and lower-skilled workers suffering the most. The World Bank also recently confirmed that global poverty is likely to increase for the first time in 20 years, reversing decades of progress made to reduce it. Thank you, International Labor Organization and World Bank, for this information. In Divine grace, may humans’ livelihoods have a chance to be restored through real efforts to move to a benevolent vegan world.

Up next, Kazakhstan to plant two billion trees in five years. We’ll just thank the legal counsels who guide the non-profit animal rights organizations so they can save more innocent lives effectively. Please stay for more enriching news on Supreme Master Television.

Hooray, treasured friends, it’s me, Wonkee the vegan Mule! You can be the change you are waiting to see. Just go vegan – for yourself, the animals and the planet! I have a crafty tip for you today. Rather than throwing away any broken or cracked terra cotta planters and saucers, you can repurpose them by creating a lovely birdbath with them for your garden. If you want to make your creation unique and add some color, you can paint the pieces before sticking them all together. This will be a fun project with results the birds will love and enjoy! Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Kazakhstan to plant two billion trees and clean the environment.

The Kazakh Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources recently started their Taza Tabigat (or Clean Nature) program that will plant two billion trees across the nation over the next five years. While the young trees will become parts of forests, another 15 million will go to cities. In addition, a green belt will be created around the Turkestan Region to help shield it from the surrounding desert. National forests and water reservoirs will also be cleaned. Kazakhstan is a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance laureate. Way to go, Kazakhstan, on your national program to have more majestic trees take root in your beautiful country. In Heaven’s blessings, may your citizens, flora and fauna all live harmoniously.

Expert warns working from bed has health risks.

In a recent study of 1,000 people in the United States, 72% reported that during the pandemic they had worked remotely from their bed, which is 50% more than before COVID-19 lockdowns. However, Dr. Susan Hallbeck of the esteemed Mayo Clinic medical research center has warned that this causes strain to the neck, back and hips. In addition, for young people, who work from bed more often than older adults, problems such as headaches, stiffness and pain can show up later in life. Psychologically, the habit causes the brain and body to associate the sleeping area with daytime activities. This is seen as a factor of the increased insomnia and sleep disorders reported during the pandemic. Many thanks, Dr. Susan Hallbeck, for this important information. In God’s mercy, may humanity end the pandemic sooner through the vegan diet so that we all can work in environments more conducive for our holistic health.

Yemeni women light up homes with solar power.

With support and grants from the United Nations Development Program, in 2019 Iman Hadi from Abs, Yemen, led a team of 10 women to launch a solar power station in the district. The group learned to manage the grids themselves, and their power plant can provide affordable electricity to 43 households. This bold action has helped many women and their families improve their incomes and achieve financial sustainability. Ms. Hadi envisions expanding the service to all 3,060 households in the Al-Ghadi area in the future. The project won the 2020 Ashden Awards for Humanitarian Energy that honors climate champions. Our accolades and appreciation, Ms. Iman Hadi and team. Many thanks for your support, United Nations Development Program, and may the fine people of Yemen be blessed with stability and peace in Allah’s love.

Up next on Noteworthy News, Spanish fashion brand launches vegan shoes made from corn. We are going to pause now to think of ways to practice mindfulness in our everyday life, which is the art of being aware and fully present in the current moment. We’ll return with more heart-warming news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Helpful News for a Caring World.

Sustainable fashion brand launches vegan shoes made from corn waste.

Spanish vegan company Canussa has collaborated with online footwear store El Naturalista to produce a 100% vegan ballerina-style shoe which looks and feels like leather. The environmentally friendly material is durable and water-resistant, which allows for maximum use. Moreover, the company pledges to plant one tree for every pair of shoes made. María Cano, CEO of Canussa said, “Consumers were asking us for footwear that was as comfortable as a slipper and as elegant as a shoe… so we decided to get down to work and create these ballerinas so that Canussa women could feel comfortable and elegant in any environment.” The brand also provide a range of vegan bags, backpacks, belts, cardholders and wallets. Bravo, Canussa and El Naturalista, for your inventive creation. In Divine light, may more companies follow your compassionate lead and let our animal co-citizens live in peaceful dignity.

Animal welfare group rescues bears in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam.

Austria-headquartered FOUR PAWS International, a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, has rescued two Asiatic bears from an illegal bile facility in Âu Lạc (Vietnam). The pair, a male named Xuân and a female named Mơ, were kept in small, filthy and rusty metal cages in a dark windowless basement under a clothes shop in Sơn La province. Onsite veterinary checks on both bears revealed gallbladder disease due to repeated unhygienic bile extractions. Furthermore, Xuân, who has been kept in such horrific conditions since he was a cub in 2004, also has liver disease and three fractured teeth. After the health checks, Xuân and Mơ were transported to their new home at FOUR PAWS’ Bear Sanctuary in the town of Ninh Bình, where they will undergo lengthy rehabilitation. Our tearful gratefulness, FOUR PAWS International. May Xuân and Mơ recover their health and happiness, as we pray for the freedom and kind treatment of all animal friends, in Heaven’s loving embrace.

Here’s a daily dose of pleasantry to lift your spirits. It’s entitled, “Wake Up Ability.”

“What would you say is your strength, Mrs. Madison?”

“I can wake up before the alarm!”

“That sounds good. And what is your weakness?”

“Well, hitting the ‘snooze’ button of the alarm...”

And now we have a heartline from Fu-Gui in China:

Dear Master Ching Hai: You are my only One and my everything. I’ll continue to practice Your teachings, keep the precepts strictly and meditate diligently. I’ll continue to cherish the spiritual practice with my family and the good habit of doing long hours of inner Heavenly Light and Sound meditation and hold, as many as possible, ##seven-day-retreats by myself. Thanks to Master’s blessing, fellow sisters and brothers in the countryside have set up their own solitary house for retreat. Though simple and crude, it allows us to take turns to concentrate on meditation during breaks from farm work. After finishing the wheat harvesting and autumn farm work, we’d attend the retreats actively. Sisters and brothers in the city, besides attending group meditation in the center, also try their best to hold retreats at the same time with Master. I saw Master nine times at the New Land Ashram in 2019, and I was full of bliss and spiritually gained a lot. In 2020, even though we were not able to see Master, but I was still practicing Master’s teachings from past lectures in my actions, mind, and speech. Thank God and Master for bestowing on me this gift that I could have the fortune of holding solitary seven-day-retreats in my life. Furthermore, we’re happy and self-confident, and we persist in writing in the spiritual diary every day to remind ourselves to keep the precepts, be diligent in meditation, and make selfless contributions. Every day we meditate on the inner Heavenly Sound continuously for more than three hours to be Master’s good children. We also play Supreme Master TV round the clock every day and watch as often as possible to greet the coming of “World Vegan, World Peace.” Fu-Gui from China

Wholesome Fu-Gui, We thank you for reminding us of the many ways we can support our glorious Supreme Master Ching Hai.

Now, an inspiring note from Master: “Splendid Fu-Gui, bravo for making the most of every moment and every opportunity to utilize and spread the radiant and loving energy of the Godses, Heavens, and Universes, uplifting not only yourself but also the planet. I am truly grateful to you and your brothers and sisters who so diligently meditate for a peaceful, vegan world. Please, be sure to meditate proportionally on the inner Heavenly Light and Sound as you were taught during Initiation. May all Heavenly Beings support and bless you in your noble actions and bring peace and abundance to you, your fellow practitioners, and the hard-working Chinese people.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

Thank you for your company on Noteworthy News. May you be graced with inner harmony and jubilation.
