“Food for Profit” is a powerful new documentary that exposes corrupt political connections of the animal-people meat industry and unveils how European Union subsidies fund abhorrent practices including inhumane treatment of animal-residents, environmental pollution, stoking pandemic risks, and exploitation of migrants. Directed by Pablo D’Ambrosi and Giulia Innocenzi (vegan), who is a featured journalist, the film is the culmination of a five-year investigation that made use of drones and undercover cameras to reveal corrupt meetings between politicians, lobbyists and animal-people factories.

The documentary aired on Italy’s national television channel, has been widely viewed elsewhere in Europe, and has had political consequences, as two Members of European Parliament implicated for supporting the unscrupulous animal-people meat and dairy industries declined to seek reelection.

“Food for Profit” was named Best Environmental Documentary at the International Innsbruck Nature Film Festival and received the Grand Jury Award at the Aretè Awards. It has also been submitted by Italy as its Oscar (Academy Award) nominee for Best International Feature Film.

Our deep appreciation, “Food for Profit” collaborators. May your courageous work change minds and hearts for a vegan world, in the ever-benevolent guidance of the Providence.
