Here is a gardening tip for you. Gladiolus are stunning, summer-blooming flowers that add a vibrant splash of color to any garden. To ensure these beauties return next season, it’s essential to store their bulbs properly through winter. Start by digging up the bulbs, also known as corms, after the first frost, once the foliage has turned brown. The largest corms sit under the soil about four to six inches (10-15 centimeters), so use a garden fork to carefully lift them. Shake off any excess dirt and leave them out to dry for a couple of days. The next step is to cure the bulbs away from direct sunlight for two to three weeks in a warm, dry, and well-ventilated area, like an unheated basement or garage. Finally, store them in onion bags, cloth sacks, or cardboard boxes with good airflow. With proper storage, your gladiolus will be ready to bloom beautifully again next season.

How about we bring the joke of the day on the stage and let the humor flourish? This one’s entitled “Just Cause.”

Some of the workers at a factory decided to go on strike:

“I heard from the union that the overnight shift boys are going to strike. What for?”

“Shorter hours.”

“Good for them! I always thought 60 minutes was just way too long for an hour.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Bảo Ngọc in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
