I love sharing fun ways to live in harmony with our environment. Here is a gardening tip for you. Collecting rainwater for your garden is an excellent step towards zero-waste gardening. You can install rain barrels, either store-bought or made from converted trash cans, to capture rainwater to irrigate your plants. Rainwater is better for plants, as it’s free from the chlorine and chemicals often found in tap water. For a visually appealing alternative to traditional downspouts, try using rain chains, or kusari-doi, a traditional Japanese method. As water collects in your gutters, it flows down the rain chains. Rain chains can direct water to a safe area like a rain barrel, water feature, or landscaped bed. Best to pair them with rain barrels or French drains to prevent soil erosion and foundation damage.

“My psychologist says I have a persecution complex.”

“Really? And what do you think?”

“That’s what I expected he’d say. It’s obvious the guy doesn’t like me at all.”
